understanding Thinking & Making
The Match is a twelve-month programme aimed at those looking to get into the communications industry. It’s a unique opportunity in which you’ll get the chance to experience three different disciplines across Ogilvy and three different roles. Ogilvy is made up of a range of specialisms, including PR, Content Creation, Video Production, SEO, Customer Engagement & Advertising. There’s opportunity to gain a huge amount of experience across the agency in a variety of different roles.
Who do we want?
Those who like creating, building relationships and making things happen. You are good at getting things done, you meet your deadlines and enjoy taking an idea and making it happen.
Makers might be placed in Project Management, Account Management, Production, Coding, User Experience, and Social Content roles.
What you’ll do
You’ll spend time in the various, diverse departments of Ogilvy, pursuing the roles we think you will best fit into based on your skills and interests.
Everyone gets stuck straight into their placements, but you’ll receive lots of training before you start.
It will be hard work, and just when you think you’ve got to grips with everything, it’s time to move onto the next challenge in a different role!
However, at the end of the 12 months, you will come away with lots of experience and a greater understanding of what you want to do and where you fit within an agency.
What happens after?
After 12 months you’ll know more about what you want to do in the future and where possible we’ll find roles in the agency for those who have impressed us.
open to everyone.
WHO IS THIS FOR
In short, anyone and everyone. You need to be 18 or over, but aside from that, there are no education, experience or age restrictions. We just want the best people.
You don’t need to know exactly what role you want to do either. If you know what you enjoy and what type of person you are (Thinker or Maker), we’ll figure out the rest together.
The Match is 12 months long with those selected for the scheme starting in October 2017. Those joining us will be paid an annual salary. Full details of the salary and benefits package will be given at the offer stage.
If you’re looking to get into creative and feel you’re a future copywriter or art director, The Match probably isn’t for you, you’ll want to look at our sister scheme, the pipe.
